The Think Bottle Blog was created to gather great art, ideas, and inspiration into one place. I hope you get inspired to take a chance and dive into something of your own. Plus it’s a great place to interact with me on a daily basis. Cheers!
That Leggy Beast

Hi, it’s me the picture guy about to get all wordy on you again.
In case you’ve wondered, I’ve been out. My mind, along with all of my other earthly parts have been away, out of the office, out of order, out to lunch, out of the country peddling furiously. No, that isn’t a metaphor for the creative process; I mean I’ve been literally peddling on my bike, really fast and for great amounts of time over vast and strange landscapes looking for an adequate way to start this blog.
The more confounded I am, the more I want to peddle because it seems the most reliable way I know to encounter the lithe-winged blond creature so many other- real writers appear to have living in the spare room off the pantry. Left to her Very UPS-like schedule, she is predictably unpredictable, frequently arriving unannounced when I’m lying on the couch in my boxers eating humus and watching ‘Munster’ reruns. I am not Langston Hughes or Ted Hughes; I am not even Hugh Beaumont! So it goes without saying I am nothing without her. I really don’t wonder why her visits are on the rare to medium side- after all she probably has better minds to visit.
So I peddle madly, feeling the wind cutting at me as I struggle to stay vertical. The PING of my high-pressure tires spitting aside pebbles as I cling to the grips, gliding across the blacktop and nearly losing myself in blue clouds of CO2 … but wait! ---HARK! –Where doth she move? Methinks she is nearby for there is the intoxicating bouquet of honeysuckle, ozone and butterfly feet!
I will soon be gazing into her eyes- what miracles await me?
Stay tuned- we’re coming home!
