Max is very much the perfect Springer Spaniel and therefore in his own mind he is a bigger and much more heroic creature than the normal family dog. He is a pup without boundaries, unfazed by glass ceilings or screen doors; he even has opposable thumbs. But what really makes Max special is he can go anywhere and do anything his heart desires.
