The image that best fits the words really depends on the person. The one that is my personal favorite is near the end as the big bird flies across the moon washed sky casting a shadow on the layer of clouds below—it is a quiet image that seems to unite everyone.
I enjoyed the pattern on the chair on the very last page because it seemed to throw the whole picture narrative into the air—was the journey of the little girl a literal one or one of her own making.
It’s a very sweet picture.
